Linkin Park meng-annouce bahwa mereka akan melakukan tour di Afrika Selatan pada 7 November di Cape Town Stadium dan 10 November di Soccer City FNB Stadium, Johannesburg.

Linkin Park akan merilis patung figure Transformers yang sangat terbatas hanya 2000 unit dan hanya tersedia di SURU dan di toko-toko komik/hobi yg dipilih. Berikut adalah pernyataan dari Mike diblognya :

Linkin Park and Hasbro are collaborating on a super-limited LINKIN PARK EDITION SOUNDWAVE. It’s a new and exclusive model based on the original 1984 toy, the one I grew up playing with. It includes Lazerbeak, Buzzsaw, and Ravage. There will only be 2000 units, available at SURU and comic/hobby shops.

Hasbro is currently showing a sample of it, inside the Transformers booth at Comicon. Here are some pics from Les, the designer. Shout out to Mr. Hahn for overseeing it’s golden glory on our end (no, it’s not real gold).

The LINKIN PARK SOUNDWAVE will be available later this year.

LPFI Anniversary Art Contest 2012, Dapatkan CD Living Things!

Dalam rangka ulang tahun LPFI yang 3, tahun ini Linkin Park Fans Indonesia kembali mengadakan "LPFI Anniversary Art Contest". OK, sesuai namanya ini merukapan kontes membuat art yang berhadiah SATU CD LINKIN PARK - LIVING THINGS...!!! Peraturannya berbeda dari tahun kemarin. Berikut adalah aturan yang harus diperhatikan :

 

1. Art harus menyertakan serba-serbi Linkin Park dan jangan menyertakan serba-serbi Linkin Park dengan style lama, dengan ucapan ulang tahun buat LPFI. Terserah kreasi kalian gambar mau kayak gimana dengan kualitas HD/HQ.

2. Art dibikin atas kertas/atau sejenisnya minimal A4, untuk pembuatan art digital selain di kertas (dibuat di corel/sofware sketch lainnya) DILARANG mengedit foto atau gambar Linkin Park apapun, jadi art itu murni bikinan kamu sendiri bukan art hasil edit ngotak-ngatik foto/gambar.

3. Kontes di adakan di grup Facebook LPFI. Upload art-nya dialbum foto grup LPFI yang sudah ditentukan di http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=oa.10150942799270875&type=1 . Untuk art yang dibuat di kertas/atau sejenisnya, scan atau difoto art kamu dengan kualitas HD/HQ.

4. Dari sekian banyak art yang diupload, akan dipilih 5 gambar terbaik dan terbagus oleh admin. Kemudian 5 gambar tersebut akan dipilih melalui polling/vote oleh semua orang. Art dengan polling/vote terbanyak akan menjadi pemenangnya.

5. Art diupload PALING LAMBAT 16 JULI 2012, JAM 5 SORE. Setelah dari waktu itu akan dipilih 5 gambar terbaik untuk di polling/vote.

Pemenang akan diumumkan pada tanggal 19 Juli 2012, pas LPFI ulang tahun...

Seperti yang telah diberitakan sebelumnya, Dell Computer mengumukan mereka bekerja sama dengan Linkin Park, dimana konsumen akan dapat membeli Dell Computer dengan Pre-Installed Open Labs sofware yang menampilkan custim-made sound dari Linkin Park. Kini Mike Shinoda telah merilis tambahan exclusive limited editon untuk Linkin Park Edition PC. Special Edtion Linkin Park PC ini menampilkan software Open Labs Music OS dengan banyak Linkin Park loops, kit, dan sound lainnya. PC ini termasuk "high performance Dell XPS 17 laptops and 2320 All in One device" dengan kemampuan toucscreen bersama dengan Music OS. Member LPU yang membeli Linkin Park Edition PC ini akan mendapat tambahan sound Linkin Park yang lain melalui OS sofware update Juli 2012. Dan berikut adalah pernyataan dari Mike Shinoda :
