Beberapa waktu lalu, muncul isu bahwa akan ada album A Thousand Suns Limited Edition, yang berisikan live DVD waktu Linkin Park perform di MTV EMA 2010, Puerta de Alcalá - Madrid.

Mike Shinoda telah mengkonfirmasi akan hal ini lewat blognya dan LP Blog. Akan dirilis pada tanggal 28 Maret 2011 ini. Tampaknya ini bakalan diliris di Eropa saja.

"We’re excited to announce the European release of A Thousand Suns +, available 28 March. This is a limited re-issue of A Thousand Suns that comes with a live DVD of our show in Madrid, which was recorded at the historic Puerta de Alcalá Gate, on November 7th 2010, in front of a crowd of 60,00 people. This was an incredible performance for us, and we wanted to share the experience with our fans.

UPDATE : Tampaknya meskipun sebelumnya diumumkan hanya untuk dirilis untuk Eropa pada tanggal 28 Maret nanti, kini dirubah menjadi untuk menjadi dirilis internasional. Tanggal rilisnya adalah Australia - 1 April, Japan – 20 April, Europe 6 Juni. Tanggal rilis di tempat lainnya akan segera hadir.
